About A Jeweler's Art and Boutique in the Paseo District of OKC focuses on wearable art including custom jewelry. Story Sheridan Scott Conrad is a local artist with her roots firmly established in Oklahoma City, her home town. Her introduction to metal-smithing began during art school at the University of Arkansas. Upon returning to Oklahoma, she entered the jewelry industry and acquired formal training with the Gemological Institute of America, where she developed the skill to buy, grade, and appraise diamonds and other gemstones. Ms. Scott has her Masters of Education in art and jewelry, and was an instructor in jewelry at Oklahoma City Community College from 1985-1990. In 2007, she obtained her National Board Certification in art education, and is currently teaching private and group classes in her own studio.
