About Dedicated to our purpose, sharing Judaism to make life more meaningful, Congregation Beth El enjoys a rich tradition of touching lives in Hampton Roads. Story As an innovative synagogue affiliated with the Conservative movement, Congregation Beth El’s engaged and active members enjoy a caring, spiritual Jewish home creating a warm and welcoming kehilla (community). Together, we proudly share Jewish ritual, life cycle events and worship as a family while accepting each other’s individuality. Our activities, which take place throughout Hampton Roads, celebrate the cultural, religious and spiritual aspects of our Jewish lives. We learn and work together in the spirit of tikkun olam to address the needs of the community at large.
