About Virginia Parkway Pet Hospital is a full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets; early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages; and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime. We understand the special role your pet plays in your family and are dedicated to becoming your partner in your pet's health care. We treat your pet as we would our own. Our goal is to practice the highest quality medicine and surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education. Our entire healthcare team is committed to providing personal attention to the unique concerns of each individual pet owner. Dr. Doering graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. She has been an active member of the veterinary industry since 1994 as a doctor, technician, and receptionist. Her medical interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, dermatology, and pain management. She was raised in the Lakewood area of Dallas and has lived in the surrounding areas most of her life. She is married to Michael Doering, and they have a wonderful 4-year-old son named Andrew. Her other kids include Misty and Mardi, (Australian Shepherds), Aggie (Border Collie/Collie cross), April (Paint horse), and Mr. Magoo (a blind Miniature Horse). She enjoys reading, Bible study, horses, camping, and raising whitetail deer at the family ranch near Gatesville, TX.
