About A Coney Island restaurant family owned and operated since 1979, Faneek's prides itself on cleanliness, amazing food, and best in class customer service Story Established in 1966 and Family owned and operated since 1979, Faneek's is a Coney Island Hot Dog restaurant. Liz and Chris Carpenter are the 4th generation to own Faneek's. Menu includes so much more than hot dogs! French Fries (w/ a lot of variations), mozzarella sticks, fish and chips, new England clam chowder, Portuguese kale soup, and so much more! We have a very loyal customer base and wouldn't be Faneek's without them! The meaning of Faneek's is "crazy about" or "fanatic" and this is the perfect name for our restaurant.
