About Regal Family Practice Medical Center offers a weight reduction program tailored and individualized to each patient. Our patients are evaluated, examined, and monitored weekly by a Family Physicians with over 25 years experience. Story Our weight reduction program consists of a balanced deficit diet, a regular exercise program, instruction in behavior modification techniques, and may involve the use of appetite suppressant medications. Each patient is made to understand that there are many health risks associated with remaining overweight or obese. We also offer B12 injections, and Lipo B diet injections. Our diabetic patients who are enrolled in our weight reduction program are taught the value and significance of the Glycemic Index of foods. They know that choosing foods with low glycemic index can help them lose weight, control their blood sugar levels and will not stimulate storage of fat.
