About 24 hours a day, 7 days a week police coverage Story The Village of Kewaskum is located in southeastern Wisconsin in Washington County, 45 miles north of downtown Milwaukee and 20 miles south of Fond du Lac. Kewaskum is easily accessible, located at the intersection of USH 45 and STH 28. The Village of Kewaskum is known as the "Gateway to the Kettle Moraine State Forest" located along the banks of the Milwaukee River. The Village was founded in 1852. The Village was named for Chief Kewaskum, of the Potawatomi tribe, The Village of Kewaskum offers an active main street, safe neighborhoods, friendly people and exceptional public and private schools.
