About Humboldt General Hospital is a 52-bed community hospital dedicated to serving the primary health care needs of families throughout northern Nevada. Story Over the past 100 years, Humboldt General Hospital has evolved from a six-room facility in 1897 to a 21st Century medical center. For northern Nevada that means Humboldt General Hospital has become an important regional resource; for area families that means quality care is now available close to home.
