About 50 Antique Cars, 6 Antique Motorcycles, Antique License Plate Collection, Antique Small Cars, Antique Amusement Machines that still work, and a Gift Shop Story The Museum was started by former Governor Winthrop Rockefeller to house his collection of antique autos. When he died in 1973 the museum was closed. It was reopened a year later with mostly cars on loan from collectors from Arkansas and neighboring states. Since that time we have built a collection of over thirty cars that have been donated to the 501c3 non profit corporation. We are open 10 am to 5 pm seven days a week closing only on Christmas Day. Admission charged.
