About The Bedford Historical Society was organized in 1967. Story Meetings are held in April, May, June and Sept. The public is always welcome and is encouraged to attend all meetings and special programs offered. Mission The mission of the Bedford Historical Society is to collect and preserve the unique history and traditions of the people and places in Bedford and to share this rich heritage with the community. As we work to increase awareness and appreciation, we are committed to making history interactive, approachable and exciting.
