About The Friends of Talbot Islands State Parks supports Amelia Island State Park, Big and Little Talbot Islands, Fort George Island, Pumpkin Hill Creek Preserve, Yellow Bluff Fort and George Crady Bridge Fishing Pier. Story The Friends of Talbot Islands State Parks is the Citizen Support Organization (CSO) for Talbot Islands State Parks. Founded in 1997, our members and their love of the parks are the engine that drive us. Our goal is to enhance Talbot Islands State Parks by educating the public, providing support to the park, and providing future generations enjoyment of the natural beauty of The Real Florida.
