"Dr. Siems says that from an early age he always wanted to be a doctor because of the opportunity to work with and help people. He decided on orthopedics as his specialty and his interests are in cartilage transplant surgery, sports medicine, pediatric orthopedics and general orthopedics. He joined OrthoArkansas as an orthopedic surgeon in 1999.A native of Little Rock, Dr. Siems attended the University of Arkansas, earning a Bachelor's of Science in zoology. Following his graduation, he enrolled at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and received his Doctor of Medicine degree. His medical training includes an internship and an orthopedic residency at UAMS."
