About We're a bakery & cafe founded by Pastry Chef Romina Rasmussen, and we're known for Utah's original Kouing Aman, French macarons, and more. Story While Chef Romina Rasmussen got her start cooking as a kid with an Easy Bake Oven, it’s her extensive international influence that shines through in her creations today. Her approach to baking brings together tradition and the innovative techniques she’s picked up traveling. Now she’s an award-winning pastry pioneer who’s sharing her sweets with the community in downtown SLC. We stay at the forefront of pastry trends, even helping to bring gourmet cupcakes and macarons to Utah. In fact, we were the first bakery west of the Mississippi to offer the Kouign Amann -- the delectable, flaky, gooey, and crunchy treat we’re best known for.
