About Southwestern Montana Family YMCA Story The Southwestern Montana Family YMCA goals are to teach and model character-building values to kids and teens. To provide health and wellness opportunities for the whole family. To provide a safe and welcoming gathering place for youth, teens and families from all segments of the community. To provide a welcoming destination for youth, teens and families. To create opportunities for older adults to stay active, build confidence and socialize. And to provide a sense of belonging for youth and teens, especially low-income populations. Mission The Southwestern Montana Family YMCA is a values-based association. We are dedicated to enriching the lives of all people through programs that strengthen spirit, mind and body. We are striving to strengthen families and build a better community. The YMCA develops character by demonstrating and teaching the core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
