About The Book Rack Story 45,000+ used books for $6 or less. Hardcovers. Paperbacks. Children's Books. Fiction and Non-Fiction. Most of our used books are priced between $4 and $6. Our new books and most special orders are 20% off the publisher's price. We have a selection of new hardcovers that we rent for $3 for 2 weeks. We also carry an inexpensive line of greeting cards and locally made jewelry and bookmarks ($3 to $20). While supply lasts, we have some used bookcases (approx. 6 feet tall, 3 to 4 feet wide, 4 inches deep) that we're selling for $25 each. We trade used books for store credit, which pays for 50% of your used book purchase or 5% of your new book purchase.
