About Ambulatory health care services for Winsted, CT and surrounding communities. Story Home to Winsted's emergency room, open from 9 am to 9 pm, seven days a week. We also host Winsted's Community Health and Wellness Center. Mission The Winsted Health Center is committed to assuring the highest quality of ambulatory health care services for residents of Northwest Connecticut and surrounding areas and to providing the leadership and advocacy to reach this goal. The Center, in conjunction with appropriate partners, will create programs to make health services more accessible, and will provide programs to assist residents maintain an optimum level of health.
