About The Higgins Memorial Home was established by James F. Higgins and is now owned and operated by his son Nolan Higgins (Manager, NJ Lic. No. 3469). Story Higgins Memorial Home proudly offers a tradition of compassion to best serve Freehold-area families. Our caring, attentive staff ensures truly personalized services to each family we serve. Our spacious, comfortable funeral home is a community landmark, where friends and family can gather in warm, home-like surroundings. Since the funeral home was founded in 1954, many renovations for expansion have taken place, including increasing the size of the parking lot for more convenient parking, enlarging the size of entrances, and making the restrooms handicapped accessible.
