About Our mission is to provide the highest quality physical therapy, sports medicine and wellness programs to the Monterey Peninsula. Story Dr. Amy Doré is a licensed physical therapist who came to the Monterey Peninsula in 2000, after graduating from the University of Southern California with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She opened her own clinic in 2005, Amy Doré, DPT Physical Therapy & Wellness Center, located in Pacific Grove on the Monterey Bay. Her clinic provides expert physical therapy to clients with a wide range of diagnoses, including orthopedic and sports injury, post-orthopedic surgery, spine and neck pain, and neurologic disease. The Physical Therapy and Wellness Center also offers individual fitness training, yoga, and massage. Amy and her staff enjoy the relationships they have built with many members of the local community. The practice supports local business development and education in Pacific Grove and the greater Monterey Peninsula.
