About Founded by Misty Pidgeon and Jeff Pidgeon Story North Carolina Center For Physical Therapy is a privately owned clinic that opened in 2010. We focus on personalized one on one therapy. We see all types of orthopedic, athletic, post operative, gait and balance, pelvic health, and some neurological diagnoses. Our goal here is to get all of our patients back to functioning at their maximum abilities. We are accepting new patients! We try to get all new patient's scheduled within 24-48 hours! We are serving the Research Triangle Park (RTP), including Durham, Raleigh, Cary, Morrisville, Chapel Hill, and Carrboro. There are three full time therapists in the clinic. Misty Pidgeon, PT and CEO, graduated from the University of Vermont in May 1991. Misty saw the emphasis change to QUANTITY over QUALITY of care and decided she could run a successful practice on her own with a focus on QUALITY of care. Dr. Chelsea Horgan joined NC Center for PT in 2012. She graduated from Northeastern University with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Dr. Horgan specializes in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation with a strong passion for working with athletes and is the Director of the Kid Sports PT program. Dr. Katie Swore graduated from Idaho State University with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT), and is our most recent addition! She most recently completed a course for evaluation and treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction. Dr. Swore manages the Women's Health Program.
