About Chestnut Creek Campground - Clean & Quiet Campground Story 34 Camp Sites plus large group accommodations with advance booking. All sites have a picnic table plus a fire ring and provide a natural private setting. Utility hook ups are not available. Impressum Chestnut Creek Campground welcome's avid adventurers and outdoorsmen! If you are looking to have a peaceful nights sleep and want be extreme during the day, then Chestnut Creek is the place for you! We keep quiet hours from 12 midnight-7am during the weekend and 11pm-7am during the weekdays. Mainly our business provides accommodations for rustic tent camping, however, some sites are able to accommodate pop-up campers and trailers up to 16ft (we do not have hookups/electric). Climbers/Hikers: we are located in close proximity to the following trailheads: Fern Buttress, Endless Wall, and Beauty Mountain. Rafters: for those who have children going out on the water and need their kids to get a good night's rest, or you and yours need their rest to perform at their best; Chestnut Creek is a great option. Chestnut Creek Campground is in very close proximity to the New & Gauley River Adventures and just across the street from Adventures on the Gorge.
