About PPRH'S state-of-the-art facility offers the latest in innovative technology with a highly trained, compassionate staff committed to providing quality care. Story The community of Teller County, Colorado, had long dreamed of having a local hospital. It would be a place for the latest in medical care; emergency treatment, surgeries, even outpatient procedures—without the commute to Colorado Springs. In October of 2007, the dream became a reality when Pikes Peak Regional Hospital and Surgery Center opened its doors. PPRH is the result of years of steadfast effort and the community’s commitment. A dynamic entity, we are continually changing and growing in size, service and scope to meet the needs of Teller County and beyond.
