About The Basement Company is a licensed and insured contractor that focuses on finishing basements, and has an A+ rating with the Denver Better Business Bureau Story We are proud to say that we are a local, family owned and operated business! We have been strictly in the basement finishing business for over 10 years and Mike Lichty, the owner, has been in construction for over 20 years. Brandon Lichty, Mike Lichty’s son, is actively involved in all aspects of The Basement Company projects from start to finish and has been around construction his whole life and has quite a few years of experience under his tool belt as well. Phil Woodyard oversees The Basement Company North Division from Denver to Longmont, and also has years of experience in the construction industry. In order to keep the business running like a well-oiled machine, we have Kerry, Mike’s wife, and Lindsay, Brandon’s wife, as our office managers. We are licensed and insured and have an A+ rating with the Denver Better Business Bureau. Serving all of the metro area from Longmont/Firestone down to Castle Rock, we are proud to bring forth a great team of skilled contractors that have been with us for years.
