About Connect > Grow > Serve Story We are a non-denominational, spirit-filled church located in the southwestern Minnesota community of Balaton. Our church body currently consists of about 80 families from Balaton and several surrounding communities. Our church body began as a home Bible study fellowship on January 17, 1982. The group met in the basement of a local denominational church. Worship services were then held in the home of one of our church families, and later in the Balaton school. In October 1984 a building in downtown Balaton was purchased and renovated, and it served as our church building for over 20 years. We purchased land in the East Bay addition of Balaton and a new church building was constructed in 2005, and that is where we meet today.l Mission To help believers and seekers discover and experience an abundant life in Christ.
