About Our goal is to implement a program to help stock the shelves of hundreds of food pantries, soup kitchens, and emergency shelters in West Virginia. Each one of these agencies depends on MFB to provide nutritious food. Story Mountaineer Food Bank is providing a food giveaway in Jefferson County, WV. WV residents are eligible to participate. Participants must provide the following information: name, address, phone number and household size. **BRING A LAUNDRY BASKET TO CARRY FOOD. FOOD WILL BE GIVEN ON FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS** The mobile pantry program reaches out to feed hungry West Virginians who live in isolated, rural communities without access to emergency food assistance. The goal is to work together, locate sponsors, and raise funds, to develop a mobile food pantry operated by Mountaineer Food Bank as an additional resource for our communities.
