Mission Mission Statement To prevent or minimize loss of life and property from fire, injury, illness, or other sudden hazardous situations which can be dealt with by the resources of the Department and cannot be managed by other public or private services. Miles City Fire Rescue is responsible for fire prevention and protection, emergency medical services, hazardous materials response, wildland fire suppression and structural fire suppression for all structures within the city limits as well as for a growing number of business and residential contracts in the surrounding area.
