About CAARE is a volunteer run, North Dakota non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation devoted to the welfare of parrots. Story The Center for Avian Adoption, Rescue, and Education (CAARE) is a parrot shelter, focusing on rescue, education, and adoption of companion parrots. The shelter is 100% volunteer-ran and is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the state of North Dakota. We provide temporary housing and care for any and parrots while we work to find them a new adoptive family through our Adoption Process . We also educate the public about the proper care of exotic birds whenever anyone not familiar with owning and caring for parrots comes into our shelter. Other services that we offer during our Public Hours : Grooming - Nail trimming, Wing clipping, Baths, and Beak Trimming (if necessary). Boarding - We offer boarding (based on a low, daily rate) for your parrot, or parrots. Avian Warehouse - Stop by and shop in our Warehouse! We have a huge selection of toys, perches, etc., for your feather friends. Mission To reach out and educate the public on the appropriate health care and general well-being of companion parrots. To find homes for displaced companion parrots through our adoption program. To provide a friendly and caring environment for our members and guests to socialize and learn from one another. Products Parrot adoption/rescue/surrender, parrot food (pellets from small to extra large), parrot cages(used and some new), parrot supplies (such as toys, perches, swings, bathing supplies, treats, etc.) We offer nail trimming, wing clipping, beak trimming, and baths. Parrot boarding for CAARE Members.
