Bill Garmer was named Trial Lawyer of the Year in 1998 by the Kentucky Justice Association. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and has been inducted into the University of Kentucky College of Law Hall of Fame. Bill has been listed in Best Lawyers in America since 1987, and has been named one of the top 50 lawyers in Kentucky by SuperLawyers in 2008 and every year since 2010. Bill sits on the Board of Governors of the Kentucky Bar Association. He formerly served on the Board of Governors of the American Association for Justice for more than ten years and was Chairman of AAJ’s Council of State Presidents. He is a past president of the Kentucky Justice Association and is a member of KJA’s Board of Governors. Bill Garmer serves the attorneys of the future as an adjunct professor at the University of Kentucky College of Law, teaching classes in litigation skills and medical liability law, and leads a variety of Continuing Legal Education seminars in Kentucky and around the country.
