About Official home to Owen Schmitt. The saloon not only represents him, but the entire state of West Virginia. Story The Saloon is a showcase of everything West Virginia. The entire place is basically made of stuff from West Virginia. The booths are made of barn wood from barns in Preston, Monongalia, and Marion counties. The bar is made from Oak flooring from an old house in Brandonville, WV. The team hired local artist Scott Frederick to complete the task. Schmitt's Saloon features some of the top acts nationally and locally. A few of the artist that have played include Ronnie Dunn, Craig Morgan, Tyler Farr, Chris Janson, Parmalee, Phil Vassar, and many more.
