Story My start in insurance came when I was a student at West Morris High School and worked at my father's agency. I later graduated from the University of Scranton, and after volunteering in Brooklyn and working as a high school administrator in Scranton for several years, I returned to my father's Long Valley agency in 2003. Five years later, I bought the agency from my father so he could retire. I'm proud to build on the lasting relationships and friendships he developed with customers over the years. I give back to our community through sponsorships of the Denville Rotary Club, the Action for Distraction Run/Walk (to benefit the Goryeb Children's Hospital), Alex's Lemonade Stand and more. As a third-generation member of the Allstate family, I have learned how insurance can help during challenging times — and how important it is to act with integrity. The Short Family Agency is a family-run business, and we offer personalized service for your auto, home, life and other insurance needs. We look forward to working with your family. We are right below the Arthur Murray Dance Studio and next to the rear entrance of Thatcher McGee's on Bloomfield Avenue.
