About Mission Statement: To provide resources for learning and leisure. Story Monroeville Public Library [MPL] is located in Monroeville Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh in Allegheny County. MPL serves the residents of Monroeville, Pitcairn, and the East Suburbs, as well as Allegheny County and communities throughout Pennsylvania that participate in Access PA. MPL provides a variety of printed, digital, and audiovisual materials, as well as a broad array of informational and educational services and programs, to community residents of all ages for their personal enrichment, enjoyment, and educational needs. MPL has free wireless Internet access, and public access computers in three areas of the Library, which are free to use. MPL is a member of the Allegheny County Library Association.
