About Congregation Beth Ohr of Bellmore is a Conservative Egalitarian Synagogue under the auspices of the United Synagogue for Conservative Judaism. Story Located on the south shore of Long Island, Congregation Beth Ohr's mission is to fulfill the social, cultural, and educational needs of the community. A Conservative, Egalitarian synagogue, our nurturing, inclusive atmosphere enhances the spiritual, mental, moral, and physical welfare of our membership, Our clergy, leadership, and thriving Hebrew School engage families to build meaningful lives through prayer, social activities, and Jewish learning.
