About L.E. Smith Jewelers, formally known as Grandpa's Jewelry is a family owned business located in Collinsville Illinois. Story We were formally known as Grandpa's Jewelry until the end of Jan 2000. At which time our owner Mr. Leland (Smitty) Smith decided to open a standalone jewelry store known as L.E. Smith Jewelers. In fact 3 stores would eventually carry the L.E. Smith Jewelers name. First was our location in Fairview Heights Illinois then came our present location in Collinsville Illinois and lastly South County MO. Unfortunately 2 of the locations would close over time to better serve our customers and to consolidate our merchandise. We may be a small company in comparison to the bigger box stores, but we are a full service jewelry and gift store committed to customer service and the personal touch that you would expect from your jeweler.
