About We are open Monday - Saturday 7am-8pm then on Sunday open from 7am-3pm Story Chuck's Bar-B-Q originally opened in 1952 on the North end of Herrin as a car hop type restaurant. It has been at its current location for 12 years under the ownership of Chuck and Janice Shahadey. In February 2013, Ryan and Cassie Jeralds became the new owners, under the expert training of Chuck and Janice. We are super excited!!! Please join us for an excellent breakfast, lunch or dinner. Some favorites are the Breakfast Special, BBQ sandwich, homemade cheeseburgers, ribs and so much more!! We will keep all the Chuck's traditional foods and will eventually add some new items.
