About We provide Emergency and Urgent Care veterinary services to dogs, cats, small mammals, birds, and other exotic pets. Story We're located at the corner of Glenwood Ave and Vick Ave just 1 mile from the beltline. For over 35 years we've been serving the pets of and around Wake County, and recently changed our name from After Hours Small Animal Emergency Clinic to Animal Emergency Hospital and Urgent Care. We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays!
