About DeKalb Animal Hospital --" Bringing big city medicine to the country". Story Our goal at DeKalb Animal Hospital is to keep your pets healthy and happy. We are a full service mixed animal veterinary clinic providing small and large animal medicine and surgery. We are conveniently located in the S.W. corner of US HWY 259 and HWY 82 at the West end of De Kalb. We pride ourselves on being a very progressive clinic and we practice only the highest quality medicine. We have in-house bloodwork capability for large and small animals. We utilize inhalant anesthesia, ultrasonography, and radiology. We also offer dental cleaning utilizing a modern ultrasonic dental scaler. We perform equine dental work utilizing both hand floats andthe Equine Power Float. We have a roll over hydraulic chute that we use for performing lameness examination and treatment of cattle. We are very family oriented and have deep roots here in North East Texas. We have made our lives in the very community in which we serve.
