About Established in 1979, the Kentucky Associated General Contractors Self Insurers' Fund provides workers' compensation insurance coverage for thousands of construction and contractor-related businesses across the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Story The Kentucky Associated General Contractors Self Insurers' Fund was founded in 1979 as an alternate provider of workers' compensation in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Additionally, the Kentucky AGC/SIF provides out-of-state coverage for its members that work beyond the borders of Kentucky through its innovative Out-of-State/Cross-Borders Program. The Kentucky AGC/SIF maintains an A.M. Best Rating of A- "Excellent". Over the past 18 consecutive years, the Kentucky AGC/SIF has returned dividends to its membership totaling over $104 million. Simply put, it is the best that it can be in Kentucky.
