About Masa offers his distinctive style of Japanese cuisine and high quality sushi. Story Masa Miyake opened his flagship restaurant Miyake in June 2007 with just his wife and one other employee. Initial guests braved the hole-in-the-wall exterior and sparse interior to try Masa's unique cuisine. Today Masa offers more of an elegant and modern experience in his new Fore Street location, which opened in July 2011. While the room is more modern Masa still offers his distinctive take on Washoku style Japanese cuisine. Open evenings through October.
