About We are specialists in VW & Audi service & repair work. Story About the owner: Fred Newman began his career at New Milford Volkswagen in 1987. New Milford Volkswagen held the prestigious title of #1 Volkswagen service department in America. While working at New Milford Volkswagen he eared the title of Master ASE Certified Technician and also Volkswagen Factory Trained Master Technician. In 1994, he moved to Pray Audi and Pray Volkwagen in Greenwich, CT. While there, he continued his education as technology advanced, including both automatic and manual transmission schools. He was promoted to shop foreman. Since 2002 until present he has owned and operated the Mechanical Advantage, specializing in Volkswagen and Audi service.
