About Alabama's finest Swim, Bike, Run and Triathlon Store... Oh Yeah, a pretty good race management company. Story Our vision is to be the premier swim, bike and run facility in the southeast by exceeding the expectations of the beginner to the elite, inspiring athletes of all ages. Back in 2004 a group of local triathletes organized themselves and began a website and a club with the name Montgomery Multisport. Those guys would be us. See the Contact/Owners section for more details on the those characters. In 2009 the club banded together and held our first formal multisport charity event. The Baptist Health Kid's Triathlon @ the Bell Road YMCA was that first endeavour. 150 kid's swam, biked, and ran to the finish. Shortly thereafter, we organized the New Park Family Duathlon and the PT Solutions Sprint Triathlon as part of the 2010 Montgomery Multisport Family Fitness Series. On September 1st, 2010 five of the club members opened the doors of Montgomery Multisport, the Triathlon Store. In March of 2011 we had to expand an additional 750 sq. feet as we deepened our investment in the running community adding new diagnostic equipment and four additional shoe manufacturers. We have now opened a second location on Maxwell Air Force Base and are headed to Ft. Rucker next. Currently the club (TEAM MMS) has over 250 members, a masters swim group, and various racing subteams. The shop is a candy store for the swimmer, biker, runner, or triathlete... be they a newbie or a veteran. The race managment division now manages numerous multisport events and area runs including the Montgomery Half Marathon and upcoming live televised Montgomery Marathon http://montogmerymarathon.com **NEW** MMS Charities was able to donate over $50,000 to area charities including The YMCA Partner with Youth Campaign, Trec Ministries, Child Protect, the Joy to Life Foundation and more.
