Story The Draper City Police Department began patrolling the streets of Draper on July 1, 2003. The Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office had contracted with the City for policing services prior to Draper's own police force being started. Draper Police started with 23 sworn officers and 4 support staff in 2003. In 2014, the Draper Police Department has grown to 40 sworn officers and 10 support staff. Draper Police officers are on duty 365 days a year, 24 hours a day and handle any call for service or crime that is reported. We are here to serve the residents, businesses and anyone visiting Draper City. Chief Bryan Roberts heads the Police Department. He started with Draper City Police in August 2012.
