About Rock Band Academy is a music school in Prairie Village, Kansas. It helps young musicians start a band, improve as performers and pursue their goals Story Rock Band Academy provides young musicians the chance to play in a band with kids of a similar age. Most students are 9-16 years old and have taken private lessons before joining. Sessions last 7-9 weeks with a 90-minute rehearsal once-per-week. There is no upfront cost to test one Rock Band Academy rehearsal. Live concerts are a feature of the program. Bands perform 7-8 songs and get paid! Mission To help kids start a band, write songs and rock the world!
