About First-run movies every Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 4 p.m. from August through May. Story First-run movies every Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 4 p.m. from August through May. Cost is $5 for adults, $4 for children under 12. Pop, candy and popcorn available for much cheaper than what you'll find at any "big-city" movie house. The Iowa Theatre is also the home of The Davis County Players, a brilliant community theatre group that presents a live musical every fall, a play every spring, a children's production every summer, and special events throughout the year. Guests artists also perform at various times, including musical groups, dance groups, comedy shows, and much, much more! The Iowa Theatre is owned by the Davis County Fine Arts Council and is maintained by volunteers.
