About Comprehensive Dental Care for the Entire Family! Story Meet Monica Boehmer , DDS, FAGD Dr. Monica Boehmer is pleased to be able to offer beautiful smile to her neighbors in Albuquerque and the surrounding communities. Dr. Boehmer earned her dental degree from Baylor College oif Dentistry, after earning her bachelor's degree from Washington University in St. Louis. She has obtained more than 900 hours of continuing education in advanced dental techniques. A Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Boehmer also maintains professional memebership in the American Dental Association, New Mexico Dental Association, and High Desert Dental Colloquium. She is proud to have been selected one of the area's Top Dentists in "Albuquerque The Magazine" since 2005. Postgraduate education is very important to Dr. Boehmer, who has recent training in orthodontics from the Clinical Foundation of Orthopedics and Orthodontics as well as in neuromuscular dentistry from the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Education. Via Spear Education at the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry, she has recently participated in the "Occlusion in Clinical Practice" workshop and attended the "Treating the Worn Dentition" seminar. She is also a member of the local Spear study club, focusing on treatment planning for complex cases. Dr. Boehmer's commitment to lifelong education ensures the highest level of care, both today and tomorrow. Dr. Boehmer takes a holistic approach to life: healthy body, healthy mind. She and her husband, Steve Kemp, have two beautiful cats, and in her spare time, she enjoys working out, biking, skiing, scuba diving, a great glass of wine, and travel to exotic foreign locations.
