About We offer music lessons on nearly every instrument including vocal lessons. Buy, sell, trade, new and used instruments and equipment. Story Jamie and Chad Shaffer have owned The Practice Pad since it opened in 2009. We are happy to bring you a fun and friendly environment for music instruction and musical purchases.The Practice Pad is THE music store in Carbondale. We offer music lesson and buy/ sell new and used instruments. We also offer drum, amp, guitar, and brass/woodwind repair. Drum sticks, drum accessories, guitar straps, strings, picks, stands, etc. are kept in stock. There is no extra charge for specail orders. We offer custom overhauling of drum sets.
