About Ashland Place United Methodist Church Story Senior Pastor: Rev. Dr. Sterling Boykin Associate Pastor: Rev. Thomas Irby Congregational Life Pastor: Rev. Amanda Messer The sanctuary is located on the Wisteria Avenue side of our campus. Our Traditional worship services are held at 8:30am and 11:00am in the Sanctuary. Our Traditional worship services feature congregational hymns and special music led by our choir. Our Ascension Contemporary service is held at 9:00am in the Fellowship Hall. The Ascension service features contemporary hymns led by our Ascension band. We celebrate Holy Communion each week at Ascension. Mission The Mission of Ashland Place United Methodist Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
