About Since 1969, Staff of Life has grown from a small natural foods bakery into a major Natural Foods Supermarket, and has become a Santa Cruz tradition. Story In February 2011 we moved from our old location across the street, into a New, Improved, GREEN! Natural Foods Market, complete with a sushi bar , natural foods deli, bakery, groceries, beer, wine, an expanded natural meat & fish department, organic produce department, bulk foods department, and vitamin and cosmetics departments. We also added a coffee/juice bar called Cafe del Sol and a Flower and Plant section by the Flower Shack!
