About Membership in the Streetsboro Area Chamber of Commerce is an investment in the future of your business in the Streetsboro Area! Story ABOUT THE CHAMBER The Streetsboro Area Chamber of Commerce, which has been in existence since 1968, has played an active role in the interest of Streetsboro Area Businesses. The Chamber is a non-profi t business organization with the purpose of promoting business within Streetsboro, and helping maintain and further develop the economic well-being of the community. The Chamber is involved in many activities that improve the community, such as providing businesses and individuals with relocation information, communicating business issues to local government and providing networking opportunities. Mission To promote and encourage growth through strong leadership and support of our members, the area business community, and the city of Streetsboro. (As adopted by the SACC BOD in 2006 and amended by SACC BOD 2014) Products N E T W O R K I N G M E E T I N G S The Chamber hosts networking luncheons, educational workshops and after hour social events for Chamber members to network with one another. Guest speakers address topics of interest to Chamber members and guests. P R I M A RY R E F E R R A L S It is the policy of the Streetsboro Area Chamber of Commerce to serve as a referral resource for residents, businesses and visitors. M A R K E T I N G M AT E R I A L S Members have the opportunity to provide marketing materials and promotional items to the Chamber for display at the Chamber business offi ce and at Streetsboro City Hall, as well as at the designated membership table during luncheons and special events. W E B S I T E Streetsboro Area Chamber of Commerce maintains a website where members have a business listing in up to 3 categories, as well as a link to their company website. The website is updated regularly with new events, which members can register online for. Members have a personal login to their Chamber account to post discounts, and update their listing.
