About We are a visiting physician service who specializes in geriatric care. We also see patients at our office location. Story Dr. Brian Gietzen is the founder of Legacy Medical Group and has been practicing internal medicine for 14 years. He received his medical degree from Wayne State University in 1997. He is affiliated with Crittenton Hospital (Rochester, MI) and Beaumont Hospital (Troy, MI). Dr. Gietzen also visits various assisted living facilities such as, Sunrise of Rochester, All seasons of Rochester, Pine Ridge Hayes of Sterling Heights and Pine Ridge Villas of Shelby of Shelby Township, just to name a few. As a service to our patients Dr. Gietzen practices inpatient and outpatient care, meaning he is able to see patients in the clinic as well as hospitals which he is affiliated with, instead of referring to an outside hospitalist group.
