About Nosson Goldfarb M.D. Story Dr. Nosson Goldfarb has been in practice for more than 18 years. He received his Doctorate of Medicine in 1992 from Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Goldfarb completed his Pediatric residency at The Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital and fellowship in Adult & Pediatric Allergy & Immunology at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Upon graduation, Dr. Goldfarb accepted a position as Chief of the Department of Pediatric & Adult Allergy & Immunology with Ohio Permanente Medical Group. As an allergist, Dr. Goldfarb saw many patients with chronic illnesses that were not allergic in nature. These patients had seen multiple physicians who could not explain their problems or treat them effectively. In order to better address these ailments, Dr. Goldfarb developed a holistic approach towards medicine and expanded the breadth of his practice. Over the past several years, Dr. Goldfarb has focused his practice on various chronic diseases including fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. He also has expertise in pain management, hormone therapy, sleep disorders, diet & nutrition, detoxification, and allergies. He is currently a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners and Board Certified with the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Goldfarb uses an integrative approach towards his practice of medicine. He combines mainstream medical therapies with complementary and alternative medical therapies. This approach has proven successful in helping his patients achieve and maintain wellness. Integrative medicine is a healing-oriented approach that encourages a partnership between patient and physician in the healing process. It melds appropriate conventional and alternative methods to facilitate the body's natural healing ability. Ultimately this approach takes into consideration (fuses) all factors that influence health, wellness and disease, including mind, spirit, body as well as community. He combines this knowledge with his conventional medical training and experience to form an effective integrative approach. Dr. Goldfarb has achieved an excellent record of success in treating many patients with extremely challenging chronic illnesses. His integrative approach has proven effective for patients with a variety of ailments ranging from the seriously ill to those who simply want a healthier lifestyle. Dr. Goldfarb approaches each person as an individual and views his patients from a holistic perspective. He understands that patients need compassion and a listening ear.
