About The Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame is a not-for-profit organization with members throughout the country and abroad that supports its' mission by operating a 14,000 square foot museum in New Castle, IN that showcases the history of Indiana HS basketball Mission Believing that sports in general and basketball in particular are an important part of the educational process at all levels of education, the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame seeks to enhance the role of basketball in Indiana by: 1. Recognizing outstanding players and coaches in Indiana high schools and other individuals whose contributions to the sport are noteworty. 2. Maintaining an historical museum which portrays the history of Indiana basketball.
