The average weekly attendance is 50. St. John's offers several nurturing ministries including United Methodist Women, Soup & Salvation Bible study, Seeking Inner Peace Book Club, adult and youth Sunday School, choir, a praise band and a youth ministry. St. John's also participates in outreach ministries, sending work teams to Assistance Center of Towson Churches (ACTC), Baltimore County Work Camp, Red Bird Mission, Night of Peace Shelter, Manna House, and Care Kit Distribution to the Homeless of Baltimore County, as well as reaching out to local nursing homes and the local fire department. In addition, St. John's is the home of the Guiding Eyes Puppy Training Program in Maryland. In 2011, St. John's paid 100 percent of its apportionments. Mission The people of St. John's United Methodist Church will be God's messengers, creatively sharing our Christian faith and God's love by our actions in the home, church, community and world.
